Description: A wonderful photo of the largest fish species, captured in its natural habitat, the clear-blue sea. The distinctive pale yellow pattern of spots is unique to each shark and it is clearly seen in this image covering its huge grey body. In the Vietnamese culture, the slow-moving whale shark is considered a deity. Sadly, marine biologists confirm it is threatened with extinction.
