A sacred flower in Asian culture and the national flower in India, the pink lotus is considered the supreme lotus in Buddhism and stands for the divine rebirth and purity. The pink lotus bud is a metaphor for the inner soul. While growing out of muddy waters, the lotus remains nevertheless untainted.
